Plugs and Prosecco
Sunday, May 3 9:30-12:30
Imaging coming home after a long day, picking up some scissors, and heading outside to cut yourself a beautiful bouquet. This is my idea of how to unwind and I would love to help others do the same!
One way to make the process of growing and cutting flowers easier, is to start with baby plants and plugs, instead of seeds. At “Prosecco and Plugs” to goal is that you can curate your own selection of plugs/plants/tubers/bulbs to grow what you want, get a little education on what to do and make it easier!
At this event there are 4 objectives:
Learn about growing cut flowers
Buy plugs/plants/tubers/bulbs to put into a raised bed, pots, the ground-whatever you got!
Enjoy Brunch and a Prosecco Bar
Support Faith Food Pantry!
All of the plugs/plants/tubers/corms will be priced individually, so you can purchase as much or as little as you want! Upon Arrival you will get a guide on plant spacing, suggested pairings, and a place to take notes. Examples of what’s offered for sale: Dhalia tubers, peony roots, lily bulbs, gladiola bulbs, sunflower starts, snapdragons, herbs, tomatoes, peppers, lavender, calla lilies, marigolds, pumpkin on a stick, celosia, delphinium, etc…
